5. Privacy and Encryption
All messages are end-to-end encrypted using the Signal Protocol. We cannot read your messages. We cannot recover messages if you lose access to your devices.

6. Subscription and Payment
- New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
- After trial, txtlv costs $1 USD per month (or equivalent).

7. Disclaimers
- txtlv is provided "as is" without warranties.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Termination

- Email Address: We store a cryptographic hash of your email address for authentication. We do not store your actual email address.
- Device Identifiers: Random device identifiers for multi-device sync.
- Encryption Keys: Public keys stored to enable end-to-end encryption.
- Profile (Optional): Bio and interests you choose to share.
- Location (Optional): Temporarily used for proximity matching, not stored.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We are committed to collecting the minimum data necessary.
- No Demographics: We do not ask for gender, age, race, or any demographic info.
- No Message Content: All messages are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read them.
- No Contacts: We do not access your phone contacts.
- No Photos or Media: txtlv is text-only.
- No Browsing History: We do not track activity outside our app.
3. End-to-End Encryption
txtlv uses the Signal Protocol for end-to-end encryption. Only you and your conversation partner can read your messages. Our servers cannot decrypt message content. Even if compelled by law, we cannot provide message content because we don't have access to it.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:
- Service Providers: Payment processors (Razorpay, Apple, Google) receive only info needed to process payments.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose info if required by law, but we cannot disclose message content.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Messages: Stored only on your device(s). Pending messages deleted after 30 days.
- Location Data: Used transiently, not permanently stored.
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update your profile information anytime.
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data.
- Export: Request an export of your data.

1. Free Trial
txtlv offers a 14-day free trial to all new users. No payment information is required during the trial period.
- Full access to all features during trial.
- Trial ends automatically after 14 days.
- No charges if you don't subscribe after trial.
2. Subscription
- Price: $1 USD per month (or local equivalent).
- Billing: Monthly, on the same date each month.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → txtlv → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → txtlv → Cancel

After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
4. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with txtlv. If you're not happy, we'll help.
App Store / Play Store Purchases
- Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies.
- Request refunds directly through Apple or Google.
Web/Direct Payments (Razorpay)

- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days.
- Refunds credited to original payment method.
5. Shipping Policy
